Privacy & your data
GlowNearMe follows the privacy laws of Malaysia (PDPA 2010) and Singapore (PDPA 2012). This page explains what we keep and lets you ask for a copy, a correction or deletion.
What we keep and why
- Your name, email and home market, so you can sign in and book within your country. You agree to this when you create your account.
- Your bookings, so appointments, refunds and reviews work. Phone numbers and home addresses are saved encrypted and shown to a professional only after a booking is confirmed.
- Professionals’ certificates are stored privately and are visible only to the business and market administrators. Identity cards and passports are not accepted.
- Card details are handled by Stripe. GlowNearMe never stores card numbers.
- Financial records are kept for the period the law requires, so they cannot be erased on request; they are pseudonymised once that period ends.
